Silently, he stared down at the glistening shard in his hand. The shattered remains of the Twlight Mirror scattered on the ground at his feet reflected the setting sun, casting gleams on his face and clothes.
The mirror was beyond repair; even with the shards at his feet, there wouldn't be enough remaining to complete the mirror once more.
Letting out shaky sigh, Link began to feel the depression weighing him down. She was gone.
"Midna... I will never see you again." he whispered as the tears began to fall from his eyes.

I made myself so sad drawing this.
And ahmygod the fail background.

I was trying to catch the mood of how I felt at the end of Twilight Princess when Midna returns to the Twilight Realm and shatters the mirror with her own tear.
Link looked so devastated.

Anyhow, I hope everyone likes it. I worked really hard on it, and I was trying something new (ie, the background, the mirror shards, etc. -sweatdrop-).

I hope you don't hate it too much. T___T
