Description
My characters in a Paper Mario-esque style, for a game idea that I still like but never developed beyond the basics yet. Kelvin (top left) would be the main character, with all the rest as partners; plus about 6 optional/secret partners that aren't depicted here. Although I have mostly-complete movesets for them, here's just the basics:
Peter (top middle): Energetic little bird. Flies Kelvin across gaps like Parakarry. Wing attack hits any target.
Kirra (top right): Cute fox girl with light magic. Lights up dark areas and reveals invisible items like Watt. Jump-based standard attack.
Wyver (center): Kelvin's serious pet dragon. Breathes fire (First Strike possible). Headbutt attack hits front ground (his wings are damaged in the story).
Charis (bottom right): Kelvin's upbeat pet Chocobo (unfortunately, probably needs a non-copyrighted redesign). Kelvin rides him to go fast like Yoshi, and crosses dangerous terrain like Lakilester. Kick attack hits front ground.
Selle (middle right): Tough, confident dragon. Flies Kelvin to higher areas. Claw attack hits any target.
TJ (lower left): Old Koopa-based design; big strong guy that isn't too bright. Smashes stuff like Bombette/Bobbery (First Strike possible). Fist attack hits front ground for high damage.
Aaron (bottom middle): Kind, manly wolf, Kirra's older brother. Provides info about things like Goombario/Goombella (to compensate for his late join, "Bestiary" items can be purchased to "Tattle" enemies throughout the game). Kick attack hits front ground and pierces defense.
