My left, upper thigh.Again, I am not ashamed of my scars and I never will be.

I primarily used to cut the soles of my feet. I remember days when I was barely able to walk and, when I was still living with my parents, had to insist to do my own laundry so my ma wouldn't notice the blood soaked socks.
Old scars say 'I struggled, but I overcame and am stronger for it.'
Whatever your struggle is or was, I hope your scars tell you exactly that.
But since you are not ashamed of them I do get the distinct impression that I need not worry.

People hurt themselves every day. Some do it emotionally, some do it physically.
It's a coping mechanism. Maybe not the best one, but if it's keeping a person sane, what's so terrible about it?
