I suppose. I have all the issues of the comic sitting behind me, but I just haven't broken them out yet. Think I might this weekend though. When I originally did this for the 30m Challenge tumblr, they gave us a scanned reference that appeared to be from the comic, so I guess it's the real deal!

Oh wow. Were they still herbivores though? Is it speculated that they used them for defense or something? I can't think of any other good reason for a herbivore to need them.

Still Herbivores. Large canine teeth in herbivores are usually used as display, and to fight off predators and rivals. Although, given the predators, like large Bird Gastornis and the fast-running crocodile Pristichampsus, they had to face, they were probably not used to fight them.

The fangs instantly make me remember Lady Rarity. I wonder whether the fan works will explore her Nightmare self as vampiric.
