Pegasus aka Helios from Sailor Moon. Title based off his theme from anime.I think this may be the first time I've uploaded a picture of Pegasus? Lol I can't remember but if I did, it must have been horrible. Not really loving the whole outcome of this but I do admit that he still looks beautiful. I really need to dust off my ability to illustrate equines and maybe even learn how to sketch them in a realistic manner.
As I've warned you in my journal, I'm going through a Sailor Moon phase(again) so be prepared to see new Sailor Moon art. Btw, this scene would be like when Chibi Moon summons Pegasus and he grants Sailor Moon the magic to use her attacks to destroy the Dead Moon monsters.
Just random but in the episode 'The Secret of Pegasus: The Handsome Guardian of the Dream World', where Chibiusa becomes an adult, I just adore the piano music when Pegasus appears before her.
I also like the theme playing when Pegasus and Chibiusa are flying through Elysion. I wish I could find the music for them ;-;Everything done in SAI (lol bad aurora borealis attempt)

The term 'alicorn' translates to 'a unicorn's horn'. Basically, the horn of the unicorn is actually called the alicorn.
The name 'unicorn' translates to 'one horn', this name could be applied to any animal species with a single horn growing on it's head. If a frog, for some oddball reason, grows a single horn, it is technically a unicorn.
I get that My Little Pony decided that any winged unicorn should be called alicorns just so they had some kind of unique name but the term is literally older than the Bible and has always been described and translated as the horn of the unicorn. While it's a cool name, it will always describe that thing on a unicorn/winged unicorn's head. So in MLP, a winged unicorn would still be just a unicorn, only with wings.

Thank you very much! Drawing the angle was definitely out of my comfort zone since I'm used to drawing side-view only but I'm glad with the outcome. Thank you for the comment!

Urg! I lurves them but they're not what I'm talking about! I'd show you but Youtube likes to be total douches and remove the episodes but I actually have the one I'm talking about on this dvd. Both pieces I want are from this one episode when Chibiusa and Usagi have their bodies switched. Chibiusa enters the dream world and tries to pet one of the horses there but they crumble. When Pegasus appears, there's this pretty piano melody that plays and I can't find it ;-;
Then from that same episode when Pegasus is showing Chibiusa Elysion for the first time, there's this kind of dark theme that plays that begins on the harp. I guess these two are really just pieces that might not be available unless I'm watching the episode.

In the episode you are talking about there is a theme when she is being called by Pegasus in her dream, she is running throught the city and enters elysion. That particular theme doesen't exist on the CD either...but I don't recall hearing any piano playing there.
I love that dark theme when teen chibiusa and Pegasus are flying throught a dark and broken elysion. ;_; I SOOOOOO hate when the most awsome tracks is being missing on the CD OST realise. >.< Lol I just knew these theme's probably wasen't the ones you were looking after cuz I noticed you are pretty good finding stuff on the internet as well. xP I were just hoping these were the ones you meant...to bad. >.< I know the frustration not finding music you really want...
I never saw that drawing of Chibiusa, Usagi and Pegasus by Nauko before, it's really pretty indeed.^^

this is epically beautiful! probably one of your most beautiful works yet Twiggz! The lighting is very well done! The pose it superb, even more so since its not that easy to do that pose with equine morphology.

Awww Thank you so much, A! I always enjoy what you have to say about my work! I'll admit that I like the finale very much and the pose was difficult >A<; But in the end, I really got him to look how I imagined and it really does make me think of the scene when he grants Sailor Moon her weapon.
