Another Halloweenie pic! This one is a bit more depressing XD

These are another two new characters WHOM I LOVE!

The mare is called Dolora, and the green zombie is Vukal. Once they were a happy, loving mated pair. And as you might be able to tell, Dolora was thrilled when she discovered she was pregnant with their first foal. However, fate had delt them a foul hand.
In the lands where they lived, a terrible disease broke out, effecting both human and beast which brought the dead back to life in the form of mindless, flesh eating monsters. As they made their escape, Vukal risked his life, only to be bitten by one of the infected. Soon after they began to travel away from their home, did he notice he had begun to show the same signs as the others.
Vukal made Dolora swear that if he turned, she would run as fast as she could, and keep herself and their unborn safe. She agreed, but knew she'd never be able to leave him behind. She secretly came up with a plan. If Vukal could not bite her, he could not harm her. When he finally did begin to die and return once more, she steeled her nerves and in a flurry, kicked off his jaw. He was now harmless, though still no longer the stallion she had loved. Finding chains she managed to get a harness about his head so that she could lead the mindless creature along with her. She promised herself that once their foal was born she would end her mate's suffering once and for all, but she was determined that, even as he was now, she wanted him to see his child.

And they have traveled for weeks, her mate ever deteriorating, as she deals with her pain and loneliness.
