A long long awaited change of avatars for me at last. I guess I was too attached to my old one.So I suppose this one will be in use for a year or so
I'd like to think I'm getting better at soft cell shading, if nothing else but with the placement of them. Try to learn from everything
'Sides, something like this is a welcome break compared to the huge 2010 project I'm trying to finish (which reminds me, I need to go look up jean textures).Finished this last night while watching the Princess Bride. I love that film

You must be putting in loads of timeO.O I would get too antsy to try and color all those details with a mouse.(even a tablet!) XD But, I guess with patience, I might be able to get at least part of your results

Yea I almost always need a ref. If I hav a ref my drawin ability increases amazingly lol

I usually find it hard using them seein as they're never quite what I want. But you're right, refs make stuff 10 times better

I never have that problem but I normally use like 12 pics as refs, like one for the feet one for hands the other for hair, then for the torso lol.

You should become a profesional pixel artist! You have what it takes! D: I'd totally buy pixel commissions from you! When I have the money....but when I do I so will!

Well, it's smallish, so i have about 5 times more patience then with a normal drawing
Should I admit those backgrounds are easier then ones with swirlies or stars on them? I must reveal it to the world at some point

I know how you feel about being attatched (Wow. It took an embarassingly long time to spell that correctly.) to avatars. Love this new one though! You are amazingly talented at MS Paint. I fear for when you get your hands on Photoshop. XD
