Time for Megsy~! <3Here's my version of Elmo~, and it's not exactly the old design but neither the new one.
It's more a mix between the two with my own details, like the ears and tail... pretty much what all (or almost all) fanarts are, duh xD
But yeah.. I needed to put him ears and a tail because those are some of my weakness... and I did change his hair too, but you'll see that in the next drawing, 'cus I did another version of him without his helmet and goggles.

Yeehhh, I love his original design, but man, he doesn't look complete (to me) without the ears and the tail xS
And WHAT??? Excuse me? W-What the hell is he if he isn't a rat? xDD Because he doesn't look like a dog and certainly he doesn't look like a bunny, a kangaroo, a skinny hamster or a koala xDD

Even as a kid i found this to be weird XD
Well if I remember that right Tad told that to someone who asked what
Megavolt is supposed to be and his answer was something among the lines of:
"I never said he was a rat, he is supposed to be a Disney Dog like thing"
(Liquidator is a dog but Megavolt, I donßt think so)
Im however not entirely sure about that line anymore but it was something like that
that he said, my friend showed me a screenshot of that conversation but it was sometime in
october or november of last year, or maybe even earlier than that so I don´t really remember it
that well anymore
But I also gotta say that Tad Stones is known for not careing about contenuity.
Also, in some episodes of the german version of Darkwing Duck (wich I watch because I am german XD )
Megavolt is called "Ratface" by Gosalyn and sometimes other characters so to me he is still a Rat no matter what

Well, I gotta say that if he's a dog, he doesn't look nothing like Liquidator... or even Goofy for that matter xD
But yeah, he's definitely a rat no matter what...
I'm watching it for the first time in English with my bro (mostly 'cus we prefer the original and 'cus we can't find it in spanish xD) and I think they mention something like that? Or maybe Drake made a comment or something I believe... so yeah
But yeah, even if canonically he is a dog... no one is going to picture him as a dog xD

When I was a kid I thought he was a rat and the fact
that sometimes he is called "Ratface" by some characters only
proves this to me.
He will stay a rat in my eyes no matter what Tad Stones said TTwTT
I also like to belive now that either Tad is just trolling or that he really
does not care that much and just says things like he thinks they are at the time
