Uh...well I thought I'd try redrawing my old piece "A stormy landing".I still like the old version quite a lot, but I wanted to see how it'd end up with my current skills.
Gotta admit.. I like the outcome.

i am loving this drachen drawing! there's nothing much to point out apart from perhaps you could add more light shining through the thin skin parts of the wings. also i'd make the snow in the foreground slanted, don't make it round.
apart from that, it's a wunderbar drawing, be proud. you've definitely come a long way from your previous version (i checked it out) you have potential as a digital artist

I always think that winter scenes and landscapes are super hard to draw (one reason why my backgrounds look like crap xD) but you did super good on this one.
I always feel weird commenting on someones work if he/she is so super talented ...xD
What I like most about the artwork is (yeah ...shhh) the dragon of course and the fact that the light and colors match each other really good!
The light in the background has this super cool yellowish touch that I always imagine coming up when the sun breaks through icy storms and clouds for some minutes on higher mountain ranges!
Also you chose really nice colors for the snowy parts of the picture - I think picking the right and natural colors is super hard...but you go with the greys and blues which fit!
For the dragon you went with a super nice red and orange what clearly makes a big contrast to the landscape. I like especially how you highlighted the scales in some bodyparts and the rough skin in the face with the super small but focused eye - like he can be right next to you and eat your head off if you piss him off. xD
The snowflakes in the front are a little unsharp what makes them look more like they are actually falling and not being glued to the screen.

Klar! Das ist wahr. Ich hatte zwar damals Englisch LK in der Schule aber irgendwie...ist deutsch dann doch eher die malerische Sprache, die ich brauche, um so etwas zu beschreiben
Haha, ich maße es mir meistens eh nicht an, etwas zu kritisieren, einfach weil ich finde, dass ich es selbst erstmal so weit schaffen sollte. (Was ja nicht heißt, dass man kein Auge für Fehler haben kann ^^)
