(Happy Halloween, everyone! I wanted to do something like last year's Halloween special, but school's been keeping me a bit too busy for it.
So the question is: Is Reina dressed as a Pokemon Trainer, or am I dressed as Ken Sugimori ?)
Anyway, I picked up Pokemon X last weekend. I haven't been able to put in much time with it, but so far I'd say it's the most enjoyable Pokemon game I've played since Ruby and Sapphire versions.
I decided here to do a revamped version of my Pokemon version of Reina, now that I've got a better handle on the visual style.
Since these are pretty quick and easy to do, there might be a couple more Trainer illustrations on the way.

Really digging the aesthetic here. And is that a Pokegear I spy? One of my favorite pieces of Pokemon tech. Haven't seen one of those in forever!

I've always loved the little gadgets you carry around in Pokemon games. In my own personal "head canon" I like to imagine that pretty much every trainer is equipped with some such device. The one here isn't necessarily a Pokegear (though that's certainly my favorite of the various gadgets) but it is pretty much the equivalent of a Pokegear, PokeNAV, Xtranciever etc.
