Hi-lex is part of a well known partnership throughout many of the islands on Aqua Magna. He and his brother, Setheir are merchants that trade between islands. Although they are definitely not toa, they still seem to be in control of some amount of elemental power. They are the only two of their species ever really seen. No one knows where the rest may be hiding, if there are any. Hi-lex is the younger of the two brothers and is very easy going. He is quite friendly and enjoys making acquaintances everywhere he goes. And by brother, I dont mean bond brothers as the toa, I mean that he and Setheir share certain DNA. Even with all the friendliness though, Hi-lex has a disease that makes his inner bones grow out of proportion and outside of his body. The bones do make weapons that he can use, and coat his body in an armor of sorts. However it is incredibly painful to him, although with years of feeling the same pain, It has dulled to a controllable level. Hi-lex and his brother are also mercenaries of sorts, if someone needs some extra help in a battle or war, or needs protection, they work as an incredibly powerful duo. Whenever Hi-lex is in battle though, he needs to rely on dodging the attacks rather than taking the hits because even though the bones supply him with a natural armor, If one blow lands on the bones, it racks his body with far more severe pain than what he usually feels. He can recover quickly, but it is generally best for him to just not get hit. Luckily for him, he is quite fast and maneuverable, often making the first and final strike from a strategic position.
