I'm so glad you like it! I wanted to give it a naΓ―ve feeling, something along the lines of a child's memory, but was afraid that it had turned out looking way too simple.

No, I like this "simple" style, it really makes the picture looking innocent. And it looks like an old picture or a dreamsequence from Sherry. It's amazing and so sweet!

Puts in my mind ... the time that father and daughter first saw Jurassic Park in the theater and little Sherry said, "Dada, could you genewicawwy gwow me some dinos, pwease?" and he said, "Hmmm, I can probably come up with a virus that will evolve in dynamic iterations until we have just that! Jurassic perfection!"
And later ...
Birkin: "Huh. I think I maybe swapped some adenine for some cytosine ... cuz that was totally supposed to be a stegosaurus."

Thank you, and I'm glad you liked it. I hated to write a comedy message when I've been enjoying your posted sketches so much. I mean really enjoying! For whatever reason I just cannot sketch like that - I've tried!
I really was put in mind of Jurassic Park - it surprisingly fits. JP came out in 1993 - RE2 was 1998. Sherry would be rather young but I can imagine William wanting to impress upon his young daughter the potential of genetics - hoping she'd follow in his footsteps. It has the right combination of sweet and creepy manipulation that is a hallmark of Umbrella scientists ...
