Description
It's night time, in this land
How dark, and cold the air
She, alone, stands near a tree
Whose dead, dry limbs are bare

A pain is writhing in her chest
She tries to push it down
And though it's visible in her eyes
For their cry there comes no reply

And so she stands, so quite alone
And leans against the tree
No warmth or comfort has she gained
Her eyes, they turn to Him

Her sadness now has gained a voice
She liberates her pain
It all flows out just as her tears
Fall to the ground like rain

Peace has come from letting out
All that she had held in
Exhaustion brings a needed sleep
And calm to wrap her in

Her hope is for a better place
With flowers and gold sunshine
And many more who will surround
And care for her soul, heart and mind
