i feel like this was some sort of dream. people probably thought i was nuts taking photos at 1 am.Whistler, BC, Canada

Have you tried editing the tungsten lighting so the snow is consistently white?

Steps:
1. Select brush.
2. Change mode to "color"
3. Paint black, or white. (#ffffff, or #000000)
4. Done.

Oh, a bunch of ways. Do you have Photoshop? If not, just use GIMP, it's free.
You can use a brush stroke, a color overlay, a desaturated layer masked on top, a masked Hue/Sat adjustment layer... Anything that deals with colors or saturation.

Thats always a fun way to photography...not as much pain and work goes into it. I've found that the best photos I've taken aren't posed/made up. Its great
