/edit: A big thanks to everyone for your kind words so far! This was quite different from my usual so it's nice seeing people like it!
This was drawn for the Twist Fate Challenge. Though I would most likely had done it a bit more if there wasn't so many things to be done for next week.

The basic idea of how this has been twisted from good to bad is that instead of peaceful encounter with the Englishmen this sort of thing ends up sparking. A sort of war. And I at least could not really imagine the original Pocahontas (from the movie at least) to ever let something so terrible happen to her village and people.

This is one of my favorite movies from Disney and what makes her and the story even more intriguing is knowing that it's based on real history.
Though drawing this was quite challenging with all the new things that I hadn't drawn before. Especially taken that I rarely try proper backgrounds like this.(I even ended up covering big part of it in "smoke" because it in didn't feel good enough') Though I do have to admit that it was quite entertaining.
