Personality traits: Quiet and withdrawn, he generally only speaks when the effort is worthwhile or has something important to say. He is, however, quite vocal about the things he believes in. He doesn't care much what others say or think about him, and prefers to be left alone. As a child, he was a lover of all animals, his favorite being cats. Favorite foods are rare meats, bread, and wine. Hated food is mushrooms.

Hair: Naturally curly, dark blond/brown that is approximately 3 feet in length. It is all one length, no layers or bangs, and is sometimes worn in a dark purple hair tie. He carries a comb made from the bones of the rib section of a small digimon to keep it in check.

Ethnicity: White, German
Outfit: He wears a black shirt that is two sizes too big for him. His pants are dark blue cargo jeans with the cuffs at the bottom rolled up because they are too long for him otherwise. Sometimes over his shirt is a dark gray zipper jacket that is usually left open and has the signature red bat common to many viral digimon across the chest. His shoes are gray with purple lines along the sides. Across his left arm, from just below the right side of his wrist and extending backwards to the left two inches is a scar created by a glass wound in the accident that brought him to the digital world. On his right hand, on the index finger, between the first to joints is a scar in the shape of an 'x', given to him by his pet cat when he was young. A holy ring is worn on the ring finger of the same hand, and Around his neck is a silver chain that is left tucked inside his shirt. An alternate outfit, for colder weather, is an overly large brown sweatshirt and green/brown/grey (camo) cargo pants.

Digidestined's family: His mother's name was Elisa, and his father was Mattias. His younger sister was Samantha.
How partners met: When he was ten, Edward and his family were traveling home from an excursion at Great Adventure when a truck overturned in front of their vehicle while traveling along Rt.9 North. The car slammed into the truck and there was an explosion. His parents and sister were killed. He felt himself ejected from the car, and thought he would die as well until he skidded upon the ground, not pavement, of a foreign enviroment.

The place seemed dead - barren trees, gray, colorless grass and clouds extending as far as he could see. On the ground by his side was a device that had been his watch before arrival. He picked it up and began limping through the land, eventually stumbling across a hungry Devimon. After being attacked due to reeking of blood, and resisting greatly despite his injuries, his digivice reacted with a strong light, at first repelling the creature. After learning the nature of their relationship, he reluctantly took solace in the devil, and, without family to return to, was raised to be a fighter for darkness.

He holds great respect for his partner for having nursed him back to health and providing him with a place to live. His senses, especially his sight, grew stronger than a normal human's due to the years of living in the digital world and in the darkness beside his partner.

Due in part to his diet and the work he had to do to survive, he has a very thin frame and appears malnourished at times. Because of his heritage and the fact that he spends most of the time in the dark, his skin is very pale. His hair is long, having never been cut since the accident. After having it long for eight years, and gender role influence eradicated from his being, he has no desire to cut it.

At current day he has recently reached the age of maturity, 18, on his home world. Though he is a villain, and fights for darkness, he is not necessarily evil. Perhaps you can redeem him, and that is when the ultimate level mode change can occur, since it is said Venom lacks intelligence, which makes Belial appear enlightened..?
Digimon lives with partner or in the Digital World - Resides in the digital world and lives along side his partner, who exists in the Adult or Perfect level when not amongst other humans in order to protect him from other digimon. Travels to Earth are few and far between.
