Description

Elegant mausoleums and monuments line the walkways of this shaded cemetery. It was once one of the most fashionable places to be buried and plots were reserved only for the highborn and notable. Space was limited though, and the local elite have since moved on to other locations to honor their dead. Nature has begun the long process of reclaiming the land; bushes and other foliage overgrow the monuments, while mats of ivy cling to walls and shaded areas.

The dead are not entirely forgotten though; the local elite still have mourning candles lit in front of the mausoleums to keep up appearances and tradition, and other notable graves likewise have flowers occasionally placed. Perhaps something else stirs among these monuments?

This 50x40 grid map can make for an interesting threat environment, as the bushes and foliage present difficult terrain, and threats may lurk amidst both the mausoleums and in the branches of the trees overhead.
