Description
This is possibly my most ambitious map yet; a light warship based on Royal Navy brigs of the Napoleonic period. She is armed with twelve cannons, measures 95 feet with a beam of 25 feet, and carries a crew of up to 101 officers and sailors. A warship of this size should be suitable for a nautical campaign, as its shallow draft would allow it to venture places that heavier vessels wouldn't date, and it carries just enough firepower to be troublesome but not overwhelming.

The map comes in five layers, this is the quarterdeck (and forecastle). The capstan for the anchors is accessed here, and the elevated decks provide officers a platform from which to overlook the activity on the main deck below. During battle, marksmen can be stationed on these upper decks to fire down at enemies with personal weaponry. The ship's two boats are launched and retrieved from the quarterdeck's cranes.
