Description This was fun to do. I felt like I needed to do something before the weekend was over, so I did this this evening. Not sure where the inspiration came from, but ah well.

This has my favorites things to do in a drawing. Water, clouds, and backlighting. I like how it turned out. Sorry if his right arm looks weird. The forearm is supposed to be facing the viewer a bit.

this has to be my favourite of all your tem/ redwall art. the sunset is awsome everything is so good and the water... dont even get me started on the water its actually amazing! there are times when i wish i was any good with a tablet... oh well i'll just have to keep practising with mine... in the mean time more real media art! fav

Thanks! I am glad you like it. And that's good you have a tablet. I doubt my art would be as good if I was still messing around with a mouse.

LOL LATE COMMENT.

I seriously love this. I think that is one of (if not the) best piece yet. All of the elements combine to draw your eyes around the image: the framing clouds, the sun, the offset character, and the rippling water. It has a great feeling of tranquility, which you don't often get from images where the subject is wielding a sword. Plus, I always love it when back-lighting is used effectively.

I think that the anatomy seems to be spot on. The arm doesn't look "funny" to me. I could tell right away that it was foreshortened due to perspective.

Sorry, I can't find anything to really critique on this one!

Oh wow, this is amazing. c: I love the lighting, and the way you kind of made Temiree... glow? I'm not sure if that's the right word. xD The reflection and the clouds are also really nice.

Oh wow, the background here is amazing. The sunset, clouds, water... truly breath-taking I assume you're already aware that the left arm is a little off, but foreshortening is usually difficult. The way the picture is lighted also makes it hard to tell that the arm is facing the viewer, but other than that one arm the picture is simply stunning ^^

I showed my art teacher this picture, and he says that the arm looks off because the hand isn't as defined as it should be, and could be a tad bit bigger.

Hmm. Now that you mention it, fixing the hand would probably help as well Just something to bear in mind the next time you do foreshortening.

My only thing is that his left (viewers right) seems... Short. I know its just perspective and that his arm is actually bent, but it looks abnormally short.

I see what you mean. Could be the upper arm. Not sure why because my upper arm ends (elbow) ends just a lil bit above my waist. I made his about the same.

Nice concept! Great background and scenery, and the shading is amazingly well done. I love how you've posed him there, too!

I love the sunset and the reflections in the water, well done.
One tiny thing, the white line at the base of his tunic looks a bit flat, it doesn't look like it's moving much up/down with the folds and around the legs. But other than that, it looks great.

Nice concept, too. I like those photo illusion type things.

Only crit I'm seeing that I'm not seeing in your comments is that Temiree's belt seems a little wide. Well, you know how a belt works. It goes about as tight around the waist as comfortable. Here, it looks like the belt is a loose band.

Still, this is really something. Man, your lighting is boss.
