Detailed commission for ! For this commission, the commissioner paid for a full-body character even though I wasn't going to be drawing his character, well, full-bodied. He asked me to spend extra time on it to make him look more realistic instead... so I obliged.
He's going to be using this as a desktop BG, if you're curious!

I appreciate all the work you put into the fur texture. I've seen some anthro art before where the creator was a skilled painter with a strong grasp of anatomy, but for some reason their characters appear as though they just have fur colored skin. I guess that's OK for a cel shaded cartoon but it looks peculiar in a hyper detailed painting. Anyway I admire your attention to detail here.

Understandable! It's really tricky to get the lighting right so that it feels like a fur texture, and not like anything else. Get something wrong and it'll feel like skin, or clay, instead of fur. X) Thank you for your kind works, Anayo! ^^

The sketch was done in SAI, as well as the flat colors - but the shading was all done in Photoshop! There's important tools that I need in Photoshop for this, like certain brushes I have, or have made, as well as smudge/burn/dodge tools.
