He asked for this specific pose and expression, so I think this might be considered a reference shot? Not sure! Either way he was enjoyable to draw.

Nice drawing man. His character in a fanfic story called "Beyond the Distance" over on FanFiction.net which is worth the read. I do love the fact that style was inspired by Tetsuya Nomura, creator of the Kingdom Hearts Series. All he is missing is a keyblade.

That is true, since Nick i believe is portrayed as more smart-mouthed, confident, mischievous and snide. And while this one does seem to have the confidence, he acts more polite and welcoming.

Very well done Tem! I LOVE how much this foxy fellow resembles Nick Wilde! The clothes are really interesting to look at as well. I really like the jacket/scarf combo! Did you come up with the clothing yourself? The colors work well together and the shading is done very tastefully. The wrinkles in the clothing and the overally texture of the drawing are very well portrayed! The only thing that seems off to me in the least is probably the folds of the pants near the groin, but that may just be my inexperienced eye talking XD Overall, great job!

Dragon mouths are a bit tricky - you kind of have to make them a little bit angular to look natural, although not always. Hard to explain with text!
