My guy, I'm a Buffalo fan. heartbreak is our city's motto. 4 superbowl loses in a row and not going towards the playoffs in nearly 10 years helps out alot. lol

I'm so stoked the Golden Knights made it to the Finals but the Jets had a hell of a season!

I'm jealous in the sense that we've had to go through a lot of struggle and awful, losing seasons to get to this point - only to get beaten by a team in their first year who were given favorable expansion draft rules. It feels like a slap in the face for teams like our's who had to develop the hard way.
I hope your fans don't get spoiled. I'm afraid your fanbase will disappear once the NFL shows up, or your team starts to suck, which I suspect will happen once Fleury retires in a few years. It's hard to get a good goalie. They won't know what it feels like to lose like we have, and might run off.

Yeah, the expansion draft was really nice for us. It's crazy because this is my first season as a hockey fan and I've followed the Canucks and VGK, and each had their successes and failures! I love the atmosphere with both teams and I totally agree - I hope the fanbase isn't spoiled in the future. It's been a great season and I hope that like all things that are worth it, they stick around -- I know I will! For the record, if the Canucks don't magically get better and win the cup, I'd be stoked for the Jets

I'm just concerned for our salary issue in the next few years. Some talented young players are coming off of ELC's, and we can't afford to keep them all. Hellebuyck, Laine, Connor, Roslovik, etc. I worry that this will result in us becoming a weaker team.
