Southpaw and Bobweave (Lord Brocktree)
I drew another random page result from the Redwall wiki, and this time I got Bobweave! I decided to add his brother Southpaw too since they were so closely related to eachother, and I don’t do enough pictures of characters interacting. I wish the motion that I had in the loose sketch came across better. I feel like I lost a lot of it as I added detail, but with more practice I’ll get better at preserving it!
Side note: The reason Southpaw is wearing cloth scraps on his fists is that I imagined they’d use them as makeshift boxing gloves - something to dull any impacts that might be made during training!

Okay I just saw the animated series and never read the books, so before I clicked on the links I thought it was just coincidence, that they had boxing related names, but....TWO brothers in a medieval setting with anthros who use BOXING as their "weapons" is just awesome. I think they're already my favourites, even if I never read the books (but who knows)
About your picture:
I like you line art, the poses look very dynamic and the expressions are really well made. I have to mention their paws, you really put a lot of work in them and it definitely paid off

Well, in the past I've paired her with Bucko Bigbones because there always seemed to be a bit of a thing between he and Dotti, though after awhile, I don't know... he seems a bit too old for her (though I've shipped other pairs with significant age-gaps before), plus he had his own land to live in whereas she was more or less bound to remain at Salamandastron as the new General. So maybe one of the twins would be more suitable.
I personally ship her with Southpaw in that regard, mostly because there always seemed to be a little bit more interaction between them than there was between Dotti and Bobweave. Just a small detail anyway.

Whoops, I forgot to add an extra bit to the description that helps identify who is who. Bobweave is on the left, the Southpaw is on the right! Also yeah, they aren't as consistent as I wish they were. That's something I need to work on more.

This doesn't have much to do with anything, but for awhile, when it came to who Dotti should end up with in the book, I always shipped her with Bucko Bigbones, but after awhile I began to wonder if she should pick one of the twins instead. After rereading the book over a few times, I think I ship her with Southpaw, since there seemed to be just a little more going on between him and Dotti.
Your welcome, and actually, if you do want to work on your consistency, there's another scenario you could do with the twins: the scene where its the eating contest between Dotti and Bucko; Southpaw and Bobweave helped out by serving Bucko extra food portions and always filling his beaker with wine and cordials and the like. That might be something that could prove to be a good challenge, having to draw three characters interacting at once (I recall in the book that the twins had to reach over Bucko in order to give him more food and drinks, and Bucko was just tucking in it all in bucket-loads, so you'd have to be drawing 3 pairs of arms reaching in several different directions
