Go dance around the merry go round,
And laugh and laugh while it all burns down,
Watch it fall as black ashen rain,
Destroyed its past for what it became,
Black from pink and death from life,
Now loved by those who wished it spite,
Now that is has sacrificed all it had,
It can fit in with all the latest fads,
No longer does it make children smile,
For now it is one of the rank and file,
It no longer stands out amongst the rest,
Now it lies with the rest, just another broken mess,

I miss that sweet merry go 'round,
There's not another like it to be found,
The moral of this story is,
Don't listen to the mean kids,
Instead listen to those who care,
To those who miss you, now that you're not there.
