Story:
New horse, new place, possibly, new stable, if she will perform good today. Too many "new" things for one short day. Now Irene could appreciate fully the best of all ideas - to come to the hosting stables a day before the competition. Cloud, the new horse, with whom Irene had hardly any time to train, was now much more confident and calm. Mare seemed to be selfconfident and bombproof. That was one of the good news. Rider was a bit nervous about the course that layed ahead. It seemed to be not that tricky, but you`re surelly better not to relax in the mids of it. Couple of sharp turns and really wide obstacles - one of the biggest issues with Cloud so far.
Bell`s toll raised in the air. Irene sent mare into canter, collecting all of her own attention and mind, focusing on upcoming obstacle.
Half of route with meaniest obstacles was left back. 7th obstacle seemed to be nothing special, but suddenly horse speeded up, changing leads and tossing it`s head up. Mare almest rammed with the chest into barrier. But in the last second, almost from a stand still position she jumped out high in awkward cat-like leap, not hitting the pole with front legs just by a lucky accident. Cloud jumped this obstacle right over the corner, making this trick even "merrier". It as not a time to give up or chill here. Half of a course is still ahead with very scary water jump right in the end of this torture!
