That skull is awesome! I really want to get back into drawing on paper, I have a full set of colored pencils. Haven't gotten around to it though as of yet!

I see what you're trying to do, you know, while using color pencils, blending them using the white pencil comes in handy, in fact, is the most useful of all pencils.

Really? I'll have to give that a try! Thanks for the advice. Should I put down the white first, or use it as a blender after laying down the other colors?

That's the mixing pencil to be more specific, I'd suggest using the base color first, following by the shading color, then the white pencil comes in to blend it all together and create an effect like this
