I don't know if anyone have told you this before but I like the mystic in this picture.
For example, it looks like he is consumed by all that black, which looks like curtains to me, or is hiding for something behind them.
Or, when looking at the colours around his eyes and face, he look kind of sicklooking which could mean that he's isolating himself from the rest of the world, perhaps to be alone and is looking through his curtains to see the outside world.
Still, he got some kind of smug and indifferent eyes on his face and when I combine that with the first thing I suggested, it seems as if he's some kind of a bad guy who's hiding from someone he hurt or played some kind of evil prank on someone and just saw the damage he created for that person.
Or he could be hiding from someone he likes, trying to give off a stone-face but is unable to not smile when he sees this person.
Whatever it is, he looks like he's hiding to me.
When it comes to the hand, it could belong to anyone. It could be his own hand or someone else's hand which somehow wants him to not be in the darkness anymore.
Also, I noticed the unique ring-finger with white paint on it. Since it's that finger, it could symbolicise marrige, I don't know. Or maybe it's just an embellishment... The same thing on the cross on his neck. does it symbolicise christianity?
Also, one other thing that makes this more mystical than leaves your eyes wide open is that you use only a few colours in it and few lines which gives it a calm reaction(at least to me) which I like a lot.
What I wanted to say is that there're so many mysterious things about this picture that really makes you want to know the background-story to it.

The inquisitor it is a judge of Christian church, and meaning of his live is to exterminate heretics. He must to hide to be able catch them.

The picture is lovely.
The dark contrasted with the light and the small bits of color make for excellent composition.

I like the hand, actually. Gives your eyes a little break from all the black ^^ And I keep staring at that ONE finger nail and it's driving me insane q___q
The face is gorgeous. The look he's giving is just... its so menacing, but it's like facing death and not being able to look away. But then there's that ghost of a smile, argh! XD;

В таком случае.. он чем-то явно доволен. *но есть подозрение, что у большинства представителей подобных профессий эмоциональный диапазон как у Чака Норриса... поэтому! Есть над чем подумать. Даже книгу можно написать

Единственное, думаю диапазон эмоций у него пошире, чем у Чака Норриса. (хотя бы потому что видно, что не топором он еретиков рубит ).

yup. ryuugu rena from higurashi naku koro ni. this character is a "bit" crazy, because if she saw something she liked, she says: Omochikaeriiiii! x3
and grabs it and run. ^^ (higurashi is a good show too. it's contains a lot of bloody scenes..)
