Description Second pic to the Joey and Kali Blae scene. Kali Blae test's Joey's strength before the young warrior is sent on a mission.

Again, I purposely only colored the characters and window through photoshop to express the way I used to look at life , and the condition I was in. The rest are color penciled lightly. Details in regards to the appearance of this pic can be found in "Joey and Kali Blae" commentary.

for this one in particular, Joey's perspective reflects me the way I was at the bottom, like a doormat, or being made inferior, the black sheep of the family, more or less. This pic portrays deeply how my troubles has strengthened my character. Just as the young alien is performing an amazing feat, it amazes me, how I came a long way, and how much God has changed and strengthened me since then.

The nebula surrounding Joey represents his visual aura, emphasizing his potentials in strength. It also serves as a predestined stability that will bring balance in his life. (My life)

Another scene based on my storyboard.

Nice job, and quite an awesome description.
I can relate somewhat to your past situation.
For me, it was finding friends online. We hang out sometimes as much as 3 times a year.
But yeah... sometimes its easier to just hangout with your creations.

The green character here seems very friendly, and loving towards Joey.

Thanks so much. ^^
Kali Blae, is like the ideal mentor that I kind of wish I had in real life.
Growing up without a father left a bit of an impression on me. At the time, I
looked to fictional characters for traits I thought I was supposed to have but
never really gotten them the way I probably should have.

Sorry that you didn't have a father... I can only imagine how that'd be growing up.
I've heard of similar stories where those who grew up with a mom or pa did similar things to you.

Thank you. ^^
I never did hold any resentment towards my dad, but instead,
I was just emotionally numb to it, only feeling as though something
in my life was missing and nothing more. It felt like it had always been this way,
and I guess, growing up like that was just part of the norm. When ever I
meet someone who tries to be a father figure to me, I'd feel strange about it,
not knowing how to respond to it. It's weird. Almost foreign to me really.

Its an interesting perspective in the picture, and an interesting perspective into your life. I love Joey because he's just a child, but with enormous potential.
