I watched the pilot for the first time in decades not long ago, and noted how in Mission Control, they would receive the output from the computer in the form of a 40 column printer-type. Not that asking for or receiving hard-copy would be unheard of by any stretch, but, that was the primary output for pretty much ALL Moonbase alphas data. It would reel off its report, or data, whatever, then the command staff would grab the report, pour over the printout(with stern purposeful looks), trying to digest its data and form a response. This method was even more dubious when you consider the moon has a serious tree deficit, meaning paper would be a incredibly precious commodity on moonbase Alpha. Even if the moon did have trees (lol), Alpha would no means of turning into paper in any event. Think how much paper and ink modern organizations waste on trivial printouts in many cases, it seems all the more quaint. Alpha should have been on a very strict paper diet from minute one. But then again, if they could replace their endless Eagle losses, maybe replacing the paper to feed main computers endless printouts was just as trivial.
While they did have a few actual screens(aka terminals of sorts), the modern notion of how computers delivered and retained their data, and how it was accessed, was very much rooted in the 70s of course.
