✨ Spyro is out today! ✨
I hope ya’ll enjoy the game and thanks so much for your support while I worked on this project. It was a loooot of work, more than I had initially bargained for but I’m really happy with some of the arts I was able to create and I really enjoyed hearing about your memories of Spyro along the way!
Unfortunately I wont be playing the game today since GAME failed to deliver and my local doesn't have any QuQ Hopefully tomorrow though~

Yes I did! Arrived today. Finished the first two home worlds pretty much. It looks so beautiful. Some aspects will take some getting used to but I really like it so far. What do you think of it?

I feel you on needing to get used to it, it took me a while too (and I still never know where exactly I’ll end up when I hover, not sure what’s different about it.) Overall I am thoroughly impressed though! I started with 2 since it was my first game as a kid. :> I’ve encountered a few little bugs but nothing that’s dampened my enthusiasm too much. (Except for the cowlek mission in Zephyr. That was a quite broken for me, haha.)
What’s been your favorite level so far? Personally I don’t know if I can choose but maybe Shady Oasis. :>

Ah yes, the delay was unfortunate~
I think it's the camera. It just feels a bit fiddly.
In the original Sunny Flight I could do it first attempt no problems but Reignited it took me quite a few tries. It's good that its a challenge now but It's annoying to hit things or not be close enough to flame when I could in the original. I'm basically fighting my own muscle memory I think haha!
I've only played a little of the first game but so far I like Dark Hollow but that was always a favourite from the originals ^^
I can't wait to play Spyro 2 as it's my fave Spyro game ^^
I've heard the more you progress through the games the more glitches there are which is a shame :/ Hopefully they will get fixed quickly.
Also, I loved Shady Oasis in the original! I can't wait to see that level.

That's why I made sure to buy the game at one of the GAME shops personally than rely on online shopping, no offense. Didn't get to play until 9 but it's worth it.
It feels good to play and sounds even better. It's a bit strange that you can turn the camera vertically as well as horizontally with the right analog stick in a Spyro game but there is options for retro controls just in case. The only part I really hate is that the 20GB patch for levels for Spyro 2 and 3 and internet speed is abysmal at night.

Home delivery is good for people that don't have immediate access to game retailers. I'd have to travel pretty far to get to one and I look after someone who is disabled so it's not always possible for me to go out when I need to. The point is, the store said they would deliver on launch day but they didn't so that's on them. Though I probably wont be ordering my next game from them that's for sure!
Music sounds really good! I do find the controls a bit clunky even after switching to classic. It's going to take some getting used to...

I remember how my hubby was enamoured with the game Bastion and he was going to do a fan piece for every important stage or something. He got as far as two drawings, never finishing the second... I never finished my great big fan fiction of Dragon Age: Origins, currently working on and off on a reboot of sorts. Even though I deleted my fanfiction.net account.
Oh yes, I imagine you have a lot to do. Are you going to miss all the Spyro?

It's not easy to stick to something. But it doesn't do yourself any good getting in a rut either. Sometimes things are better when you take your time. For creative writing I feel that is definitely the case. You can't always force ideas to appear on the page.
I will....but now that the remake is out, I'll still have some Spyro to enjoy for a while ^^ But I'm looking forward to drawing some new things for a while too ^^

I know; it's extremely difficult to stick to something. For some people, at least. I rarely finish things, but am proud to say that I finished my first playthrough of Nine Parchments. Nice game, that. Hahaha, I started writing that fic in 2011 or something. Now that's taking your time.

Plenty of videos complaining about it beforehand though!
So many games come with downloadable parts, I feel like Spyro got a lot of bad attention over it and it wasn't even an issue in the end.
