More studies from the Scottish Highlands.Glencoe is my favourite place to be. The landscape is so desolate but has so much beauty there. It's so vast but also so quiet and peaceful. You could visit a thousand times and it never look the same twice. The mist enveloping the peaks and waterfalls cutting into the edge of the valleys is ever changing and beautiful *O* ahhh I wish I could go back there. It is only a couple of hours drive from here...
Glencoe was formed over millions of years through collision of tectonic plates, several ice ages and volcanic eruptions!!It's hard to believe but the mountains in these pictures once used to be 4x the size they are now *O*
