Well, to be honest...I'm obsessed with Japanese swords xD But I've already got two other OCs who use Katanas, so I wanted something different. Something new that I haven't used before. And BAM! I came across the Naginata and thought: Alright. It's decided, I'm going to choose this weapon! I also think the Naginata is unique and nice xD

As much as you are obsessed about Japanese blades, however, I'm more of an "all-round" type of obsessed when it comes to any type of weaponry. The Naginata is an interesting weapon choice, as I see it both as a Tanto, Katana, Spear, and Halberd all at once, as it can almost have all those abilities. Another interesting type of weapon is one I've actually come across today; the Yari. Really, I've been interested in Asian weaponry as it is far more unique and exotic, and plus, I've come across them WAY too often in Asian movies... lolΒ

Indeed, I also watch a lot of Asian movies, and I find the Asian Weaponry has more variety and is very inspiring. I also like the different unique designs too

But yeah, Asian weapons are quite interesting in design and how their functionalities and purposes differ from their European, Latino, and African counterparts.
