Initially had some trouble with this one. First off, I tried to do a cheerleader theme, but most of the images of a hypnotized cheerleader also skew to the point where I'd be censoring a lot of naughty bits or risking getting into trouble with DA. So I jumped ship to the headphones prompt... and came across an old favourite of mine from here on DA.

This got me thinking of someone using the headphones to initially block out hypnotic music that was affecting the people around them, but I couldn't get a working picture for that, so I opted for someone using the headphones to be hypnotized willingly, and the idea of this caption finally took form.

“So Jack, what’s this hypno-headphone thing you’ve made working out?”

“Well for one Trish, they’re not ‘Hypno-Headphones’ they’re ‘Immersion Headphones’… but I’ll admit they do make use of hypnosis to get the right effect. As you can see, Hannah’s using them right now to spend some time at a rave.”

“She’s in a classroom, dancing to music we can’t hear.”

“But she sees a crowded dance hall, hears rave music playing, and sees herself as being appropriately dressed for the event. Thanks to the continuous feed of information being sent to her through the headphones, not only does she experience it, but because it’s like a dream-state, she’ll accept it all as normal.”

“Really? So what about stuff that goes against what Hannah views as normal?”

“Such as?”

“Well let’s say she’s going through a wedding scenario as a bride. How would Hannah react if her new hubby was going to be the bride with Hannah as the groom, with both dressed appropriately for their new roles?”

“Flipping the gender roles? Hmm, that could be an interesting set of tests to try out. This rave program’s over in 5 minutes, want to try it Trish?”

“Eh… sure. Why not?”
