Prime candidates if it is a cat we already know: Tigerstar, Hawkfrost, Sol, Ashfur (the last only because Bramblestar has that weird obsession with Squirrelflight going).

Or could be a corrupted version of another StarClan cat?

Or could be just a Ye Olde cat from the Tribe or something like that who wants to bring back archaic clan rules?

I believe both Tigerstar and Hawkfrost have been completely wiped from existence. If a cat dies in the afterlife, they're gone. Both Tigerstar and Hawkfrost were killed a second time.

If it's Tigerstar then Firestar's sacrifices and work would be for nothing-he died in the great battle from the wounds inflected on him from tigerstar. fire and tiger met in battle at last and both were killed.

I mean we (or at least i) thought resurrection wasn't a thing, and yet here we are with tigerheartstar and squirrelflight, so who knows what the Erins might cook up for the big reveal.
