Its' finally some time for a little R and R.So Ronolo Stoppinelli decides to give Shegolina a ride on hismoto Guzzi.Granted this goes against the strictest of Military rules.But He's a tennente,and in love...So he no care!Also after not seeing him for nearly 3 years,Shegolina's going to make up for lost time.

I'm glad I've discovered you. The Italian army in WW2 is one of my interests, too. Am probably one of the few Americans who've read and seen "Captain Corelli's Mandolin", as well as watched "The Lion of the Desert", "Mediterraneo" and "The Best of Enemies".

As for those movies.I've seen them all too.However,add this to your list."El Alamein.Line of Fire.It came out in 2002.It's a great movie about the Pavia Division in Africa.

Well,the stripe is actually a magenta,which was the 'branch' color of the Bersaglieri,still is.
And No She's in white shorts.Though I proabibly should have put more detail in them.LOL

Grazie amica.I took a lot of detail from referance photos',and my own personal Italian uniform collection.Even the ribbons on his chest are actual Italian medal ribbons.Shegos' outfit is taken from period "play clothes" that we're popular in the states,and most of Europe,Germany 'however' banned them for being too 'decidant'.

Yes.I've formed a unit from the Irish Guard's group I belong to.I got almost all of them into doing Italian.
Not only that,but we Have all Original uniform's,and 4 Orders of dress.From Tropical to wool combat 'and walking out' dress to white Gala evening dress.
We went a little crazy,but the reward has been totally worth it.We always get praise from the Italian spectators especially,for doing this.

I've done a lot of research on the Bersaglieri,for WW2 living history.It's a passion of mine.

However, there are some questions:
The bike shadow seems to me not 100% correct (position against bike, angle), or need I new glasses?
Is Shego wearing clothes of the period (in contrast to Ron)?

Grazie!!!The hat he wears was called a Bustina,his is the officers pattern.
The bike shadow is correct,the light is comming from the right side.I did this in opposite of the real pic that I got the Moto refference from.Shego's cloth's are period,believe it or not.In the States they we're known as Play clothes,and came in a varieaty of colors and patterns,Even cute sailor suits,etc,etc.
They were popular up to the early 60s' when a more "conservitave" style took over,for a couple of years anyway.
