last week i think, i had a dream about a book series that doesn't exist-this was the character from it that caught my eye. she is the misunderstood antagonist, wronged by the "protagonists" and painted as villain, when in reality she was just a normal girl.
The dream showed her heart was put under a spell by the protagonists, and there was a fabric heart sewn into her chest over her own.
in the last book, at a big gathering in an amphitheater, where the protags were celebrating, she snuck in and made a speech. One that had magic written into it that would undo the spell on her heart- and doubled as the story of all the things done to wrong her. The protagonist that was bound to her heart screamed for her to stop- she realized that the spell had a fail-safe mechanism where breaking it would kill the subject. She finished her speech and died in a burst of magical energy.
