Description Some Victorian OCs, from a story that may or may not be written up sometime. From left to right:

Amelia Grace Montgomery, age 18. The gentlest of the sisters, and also describes herself as the most boring. She's very easygoing, and their mother's favourite, and also the only ginger of the family. She isn't very creative, but is very good at embroidery and making tea. Her fate: she falls in love with a wealthy suitor, but dies of tuberculosis before she can wed him, and is buried in her wedding dress. Their mother, in grief, asks Bea "Why couldn't it have been you?!"

Mary Josephine Montgomery, age 21. The oldest, and a proper young lady. She is the ideal Victorian woman, a fact that her other sisters would envy of her if they didn't adore her so much. She loves helping others, and ends up married to a man just as kind as her. She is not very impulsive.

Beatrice Ann Montgomery, age 20. AKA "Bea". The main character, a spirited young lady, skilled in reading and music, and really terrible at needlepoint. She is smart rather like a man, and this tends to get her in trouble, but she means well. She's secretly a lesbian, and weds her secret lover Sarah Knightley's gay older brother Michael Knightley, a scientist. They do science together. But Michael is mysteriously murdered, Bea is accused of it, and she is placed in an insane asylum in London, where an accident causes her to lose all memory of her past. Also they cut off her hair there. She escapes into the streets of London, where she resides in the 1880s, doing things that may or may not always be legal in order to survive and hopefully figure out who she is.

George Spencer Montgomery, age 13. The only boy child in the family, who is babied by his older sisters and parents, and he somewhat resents this, wanting to be treated like "a real man". This causes him to be somewhat of a spoiled brat as a child, but he grows out of this later. He eventually grows up and takes over his father's business.

Minerva Euphemia Montgomery, age 16. AKA "Minnie". Another spirited young lady, like Bea. In fact, she is the most improper of the daughters, impatient and impulsive, slightly flighty, not good at reading, music, needlepoint... but very good at climbing trees, horseriding, getting dirty, and playing pranks. She is loud and boisterous and always voices her opinion, and in the future always believes Bea's innocence. She ends up married to a weak-willed duke.

So... if that wasn't tl;dr for you, what do you all think?

I love their dresses and hats. The one one the left is my favorite.

Amelia? Haha, yeah, she's probably the prettiest of the sisters. And hats and big ole bustles were IN, man.
I actually kinda wish ladies still wore gigantic hats everywhere.

You should bring back the big hat look. Ones with lots of flowers. Wear it with your normal clothes. That'd be pretty cool, Though I think it'd be hard to drive wearing one.

If I had a large hat I probably would
As it is, I do have a lot of really funky hair accessories

Minnie. She likes being called Minnie, hates her full name. XD She's a lot flightier than you are and can be a bit bossy. XD

And yes, yes I do. She is one of my fave characters, certainly... I need to draw her and Sarah too

I'm obsessed with her... I almost think I could have made Bea the subject of my NaNo this year instead of Sophie for all the research I keep doing for her

Yup, in both their stories right now (Bea's is only an outline):
-Sophie is dancing with her childhood friend Misha, who is secretly in love with her, though she doesn't know it yet
-Bea is teaching little Mary Beaton to read

Here, have an excerpt of Sophie's:

"We laughed and then spent the rest of the dance comparing the philosophies of Voltaire and Rousseau. This was one thing I liked about talking with Misha. Unlike other men, he did not mind my intelligence in such matters. In fact, he seemed to rather admire it. And though we both followed the writings of both of these philosophers, and agreed and disagreed with things said by the both of them, Misha far preferred Rousseau while I preferred Voltaire. We never fought about this, though. Our intellectual debates were rather friendly, and this one was no different, engaging both our minds for not only the rest of the dance, but the one after that as well! I could not help it, for the conversation had been so nice, but I was a little mortified. Two consecutive dances with the same man! I just knew rumours would already be flying. Such things were not done unless the man and woman meant to be engaged! What would all of Versailles be saying about Misha and I?! I almost cringed in thought of my mother's reaction..."
