I really like it but you are right, the rifle does seem a little small, but it's perfect if you wanna go down the route of an SMG

Naw, I've actually already fixed it in the final pencil sketch. I actually built a crappy version if it in Sketchup so I would have the right size and shape. So the next one will be right.
