Yep, another eye tutorial from me!
Last one was about how to color them digitally, but this tutorial applies to both traditional and digital art

A friend told me they had trouble drawing eyes, so I suggested using geometrical shapes as a base (then I thought, why not make a tutorial about it?). Especially if you're not trying to be iper-realistic, eyes can have a lot of different shapes and it's super fun to try different things, so don't be afraid to experiment!

I don't think this tutorial can get easier than this, so all you need to do is choose a geometrical shape and polish it as you see in the picture, to finally add the pupil and some details. I feel that further explanation is unnecessary, but feel free to comment if you have a question!

I really hope this will be helpful to those people who have trouble with eyes :3

This can wake me up some better eye-deas (urgh, bad pun there), but mostly for uncommon creatures and stuff.

So useful! Thank you so much, I always did rhombus eyes, but now I'll venture out to other types : )

This is actually quite useful!
I think my problem has always been that I always try to start more with the contour of the eye lids, rather than deriving from a basic shape to start with.

I really appreciate this!
I think I often overlook the simple, fundamental things.  =X

After you understand how it works this tutorial will become useless and you'll be able to do more complex things 😋 so look at it as a starting point you'll surpass in no time!

I'm really happy even my simple tutorials can be of help!

Yeah, I understand, but without the important basic things like this, it's certainly difficult to advance.
