And, respectively, next up we have Scorch, a Charizard who once lived in the Land of Draconids, an entire world above the clouds. Formerly the Draconic Prince, Scorch denounced his title as royalty and his family, due to the fact that his family cared more about their royal image and politics rather than the people they ruled over.Now, he stands with Tenshi and the rest of the team as the gentle soul with the blazing temper.
He is Nova's lover, and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep Nova safe, leaving them both protecting each other.

Yeah, and that's unfortunate, there is something with mature peoples that you just can't recreate well with the usual teenager that's meant to make you identify with.
The feeling of experience, a bitter taste for life or wisdom, but well, peoples like to put limit to themselves because they would be the only ones to do it.
Personally i like to draw myself older than what i really are, like that peoples just take me more seriously, and i always felt more mature so it reflects better how i fell myself.

That's a really good way of looking at it, and believe it or not, with Scorch, Nova, and two other of my characters, I wanted them to be pretty up in age so that they could reflect that wisdom that comes with age, and have wisdom from experience.
Because, I don't know, I always figured that not only younger people, but older people as well would be seeing the stuff I create, and I wanted to make characters that I know could at least partially relate with both a younger and older audience.

I just laught at the idea of a being more than 30 of age going on deviantart regularly.
I can't imagine the amazing world of furries, fandoms and weird fetishes being found by an "old" person, damn when they were our age being gay was considered a mental illness [or at least in the commun thought of everyone].
It's just funny because it doesn't go together, at all, and doing completely opposite things while being natural when doing so is one of the most popular way of making humor nowadays.
And i like it.
