Another Toothless the dragon fanart...I really like this piece. It started with a random sketch and ended up like this
It's all done with painttool SAI.

I just worded that question wrong.
Toothless' skin looks sort of gritty, and there is a pattern on it, and the sky also has that pattern a bit.
I was wondering how you got that look

I did quite much with a normal brush but anyways I took a picture of an old paper. In painttool SAI you can take a picture of some kind ( old paper) and lay It over the original picture to make It look better so If for example the picture I layed over got scratches and such It will come onto your picture where you layed It

Paint Tool SAI is such a great program, but I always have a little bit of lag when I draw a line, and it bugs me
