Lemme explain: during the war a lot of nazi Germans stole the bikes from Dutch Jewish people. When the Nazi's lost the war, the Dutch Jews demanded their bikes back from the nazi Germans. Nowadays, especially in Amsterdam, it became a joke between the Dutch and Germans
