On tumblr, I was asked what my favorite scene/quote from the manga Immortal Rain was. (go read the manga here. [link] )This was my answer.
I love every scene and quote because the manga is perfect omg. But this scene... the imagery and words were so powerful that it still haunts me in the best way.

AHHHHH! I've so very rarely seen Immortal Rain fanart; it's high in my top five favorite manga of all time. Wonderful job! I remember feeling my heartstrings pull at this scene. That moment when Eury just cared instead of living to follow orders. I just. Uhg.

Yes, yes, exactly! It was meaningful in so many different ways. You could just see the light in his eyes and just ugh I get all emotional just thinking about it.
Immortal Rain is definitely one of my favorite things.

YES! Ohmygoodness, I'm so excited to find another fan!!! I loved his character arc. Well, I loved ALL the character arcs, but I think that's the best part of the series, honestly. All the characters were people, Yuca proving that most of all.
Ahhhhh, goodness. So hard to choose! Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles by CLAMP would be way up there, Kimi ni Shika Kikoenai by Kiyohara Hiro and Ostuichi, MeruPuri by Matsuri Hino (guilty pleasure X'D) aaaand Bride of the Water God by Yun Mi-kyung (which is so hard to follow because the scanlations kinda butcher the story ;_

Yesssss. All the Immortal Fans that I've met have been complete sweethearts. And you're no exception, I see. It's a pleasure to meet you as well 8D
And yes. Yuca, who was the 'villan' somehow made you root for even him. Even the minor characters were incredibly developed. I can't wait for her new manga to start being published!!

I love maru-puri, too! I own all four volumes 8D It's a super cute series. I really didn't like vampire knight in comparison to it.
My other favorite mangas are D.N.Angel (which is also hard to follow online because the scans butcher the story, even though it's still wonderful. The anime is terrible, though), Mushishi, and eternal sabbith. ☆

YES! And he did some absolutely horrible things that I was sure I'd never forgive him for but then with Rain pulling out his cross and uhg. And that ending. I don't know if anyone else could have pulled something like that off. It was just perfect.

I totally agree about Vampire Knight. Wanted and Captive Hearts were really cute, and then she completely outdid herself with MeruPuri, but Vampire Knight... It started out awesome, but then they lost me for awhile at the incest. XD Then I came back to try through it again, but the story just stopped moving, you know? I hear it's going to end soon, so I might give it another go. I never learn my lesson. v_v
Bad scanlations are just the freaking worse. >.o Not that I don't like supporting the manga, but I'd be buying them anyways and I just want to know what happens. D:
You know, I have the first volume of D.N.Angel on my bookshelf that I've never gotten around to reading; I'll have to pick it up.
