Buster Modes are Synchro only
Well, I know from experience, Tier 2 and 3 deck themes are simply not noticed because everyone wants to have a Tier 1 deck. But I played against various Tier 2 and 3 decks made by a pro player. From my viewpoint, they're competitive. They have what it takes to mess with Tier 1.

I know Buster Modes are for synchro only~
but that =FireFleaSan made Buster-mode for BEWD,
so screw the rules, why not make Buster-mode for Dark Paladin

Meantime someone used Skill Drain deck and pawned all top tier decks; lightsworns, DAD, GB etc..

Indeed, I do. I'm a competitive player myself. Tho I run 4 decks, out of which 1 is tier 1. My decks are Blackwings, Dragons, Gravekeepers and Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode deck. I used to run Harpies too, but traded some cards from it for some very much needed Dragon cards. Also ran Tomato and Giant Rat Toolboxes (won 2nd place at locals with it once), Solidarity Warriors, Monarchs, etc.
Oh yeah, a Skill Drain deck topped SJC lol That was a pleasant surprise.

I see. The moment I saw Blackwings in the anime, I was like... wow. I have to play this. I don't care how weak they will be, I'll play them! And then it turned out they are one of the strongest decks lol I was so happy when Blackwings were 4th at a SJC with just 4 different Blackwings in deck. The funny thing was, I made almost the same deck before I saw that. lol

About Giant Rat Toolbox, well, it's a very good deck because almost each card is a 1 for 1. No matter how many cards of yours get destroyed, your opponent will lose the same number of cards. That is because all monsters are capable of doing something when destroying by battle. Giant Rat searches DD Warrior or Grand Mole, or Exiled Force to destroy a monster next turn. Gigantes dies, spells and traps die too. DD Assailant dies, opponent's monster will be removed from play. If not by battle, that means my opponent spent a spell or trap they really needed to get rid of a monster of which I still have 2 left in my deck. (I could also easily sidedeck Royal Oppresion

Mystic Swordsman was great. Before Phantom Darkness ruined the meta, and killed teh necessity to Set monsters.

haha, i remeber me & my friend were racing to get one of these
i had spellcasters & he had warriors. the first one to get paladin would get the other ones dark magician/buster blader as neither of us had both
we grew out of it & still no paladin to date
more to the point this is great, i really like the spinny effect

Great pic of dark paladin, I like that you kept him the way he is should look cause most people make him green when he is really blue. Plus he is my favorite card of all.
