FINALLY. Page one complete!

I am proud of the first three panels.... after that my work just got so bad and sloppy I didn't even know how to fix it. To be honest, I just suck at drawing rocks. So. Much.

This comic is a major experiment and practice on my part, so you guys will have to (or not, you don't HAVE to read it) bear with me and all the shitty backgrounds, horrible poses and failed attempts at dialogue okay? I am trying. Very hard.

Oh and yes, for those of you who I am sure are wondering, "is it MEANT to look like something from the Lion King?". Yes, it is. As lame as it sounds, this story (which mind you, I've had since 6th grade) was originally a roleplay based off of the movies, so I've always tended to imagine it in that style. Granted I FAIL at this style completely, but it's worth a shot.

MILD criticism is greatly appreciated. Please don't be too harsh, as it is my first time ever making a comic. I hope you guys will end up liking it, but if not then that's not my problem now is it?

In case the format is a bit confusing, two main characters are sleeping, one is having a nightmare. The dialogue is the one in the third panel narrating.

The sound effects are.... well to basically put it, I have a hard time figuring out how to place them correctly so that it looks right and flows smoothly. Any tips on that and paneling? :/

Oh and I will be using a LOT of references for this comic. Feline anatomy is hard for me, especially when I'm trying to draw in a specific style. I'll be sure to post links so that I'm not stealing any art or not giving credit. :]
