Mei was young enough to assume this was all a nightmare, which wasn't far from the truth. A better question Mei had was where her sister had gone. She was always the sort who would look after her no matter what, so where was she now? They didn't have time to ask these... Nor could they spare the breath to do so. All that Hotepi knew was she needed to keep Mei safe, and even if Rudolph wasn't around, she'd get the job done; She was a senior magical after all.
