Spinosaurus did have a bite force of over 4,200 lbs, making it a bit stronger than a Saltwater Crocodile. Itβs conical teeth and the shape of Spinoβs jaws enabled it to catch armored fish as you mentioned. Not to say Spino wasnβt powerful, but it was still much weaker than a handful of other theropods.
Just to give you some info, I have a list of the bite forces of several large theropods
Tyrannosaurus Rex: 12,000-18,000 lbs
Spinosaurus: 4,200 lbs
Daspletosaurus: 5,000 lbs
Carcharodontosaurus: 5,300-7,000 lbs
Gigantosaurus: 6,000 lbs
Mapusaurus: 6,800 lbs
Suchomimus: 6,656 lbs
Keep in mind that Spinosaurus as a whole is specifically adapted for semi-aquatic life, sharing most bodily traits like slender curved jaws, streamlined bodies, and conical teeth with crocodilians. Itβs jaws had to be strong enough to catch fish like Onchopristis. But it couldnβt do something like take down a land-based dinosaur or fight another theropod without injuring itself.
