Requested by masterchiefsenpai.deviantart.cβ¦Tsintaosaurus is a genus of big lameosaurine hadrosaur from china. It is one of these dinosaurs that I knew since childhood. Once thought to have had a unicorn like crest on its headΒ this crest is nowadays thought to have been part of a much more elaborate and differnt shaped crest,resembling the crests of olorotitan and lambeosaurus. Tsintaosaurus is thought to have lived in herds.

This guy used to be really popular back when I was a child. Apart from Parasaurolophus, Edmontosaurus and Corythosaurus this was probably the most iconic one.

You might have seen some older depictions of it. It's the Hadrosaurid that looks like an Unicorn. Or if you have seen the CollectA figure: The one with the rather phalliic crest.
