Okay, I've seriously tried to draw Lucario so many bloody times! Every single time, I get really frustrated, can't get it down quite right and I abandon the project. But now, FINALLY, I finished a Lucario drawing that I'm half-way satisfied with. Granted, there are still MANY flaws with this piece, it's good enough that I would care to share. I tried explaining that DeviantART is for your own art and isn't an image-sharing website, but she didn't want to listen (as shown by the hidden comments). She's not trying to claim it as hers, but doesn't realise what this website is for, especially as she doesn't mention that the picture isn't hers or give any sort of credit to you. Maybe if you talk to her she'll actually listen. If not, I'd suggest filing a copyright report to the admins.

Thank you for informing me of this! I wouldn't have found it otherwise. I have reported him. Honestly, it's not just my art, they have posted TONS of copyrighted material. That's just not right. The boxes you check when you post on dA explicitly state that you are the owner of the material whether you intend it that way or not.

Yeah, most of it is official Pokemon art (which is kinda annoying since I can't exactly ask the original artist to help like I could with you). Good to see she's removed your picture, at least. Did you say that she should remove the others? She just insisted it didn't have to be her art when I mentioned it, even after linking to the FAQ.

She didn't remove it. deviantArt staff did. But yeah, they didn't touch anything else. Honetly, that user should be banned for the blatant copyright infringement there but what can you do?

Ah ok, well good to see they're still paying attention to reports from the original artist, at least. They don't do anything about reports from third parties. So as you say, what can you do when it's official art? It really makes me sad how much DeviantART has stopped caring about art thieves.
