I made the costume and props in the summer of 2014. Sheik was always a dream costume for me so making it a reality was one of my biggest accomplishments. If you have any questions on how I made it, just ask!

My bow is made of wood, but I wouldn't recommend doing it that way. I made it very last minute for a convention and used the materials I had on hand at the time. Two halves, which the details were carved into, and a dowel rod for the center. If I were to make it again, I'd do it with foam and Worbla.

Ooo I'll have to do some research on the worbla material, thanks for the tips!! I was tinkering with making the handle out of PVC pipe... but I really haven't started drafting anything official yet, just day dreaming

PVC pipe is a good idea ^_^ I've never used it, but I know a lot of people who use it to make props.
